Jon Baker
Jon is the constant leader at AccessiCare.
At age 7, Jon’s grandfather suffered a stroke and was moved in with Jon’s family. He saw firsthand how his mother selflessly cared for his grandfather at home and it made a lasting impression on him about the importance of caring for others who needed daily assistance like his grandfather. Years later this experience would inspire Jon to leave a long career in Quality Engineering to support his wife Debra's dream of providing quality assistance to loved ones in their own home. Jon has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Operations Management and is a proud veteran of the United States Navy serving as a petty officer during Operation Desert Storm from 1990-1994. Jon is committed to insuring integrity and good business practices are integrated within the office staff, caregivers, and overall culture at AccessiCare.
Debra Baker
Debra is the compassion behind AccessiCare.
She is a Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana, has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and years of experience in the Medical and Health industries. At an early age Debra discovered that she liked taking care of people. After graduating high school, she became an in-home caregiver and began pursuing her degrees in Nursing and Business. Debra was particularly interested and drawn to the elderly like her grandfather, a WWII combat Navy Veteran, and their life experiences. She saw the need for quality in-home care for loved ones, like her grandfather, and wanted to make a difference in their lives. She was determined to start a company and follow her ambition of making sure those who need care, companionship and assistance in their daily lives get their needs met in the comfort and familiar surroundings of their own home. In 2012 she left corporate life and started AccessiCare Elder Home Care. Debra is an advocator for her clients and is involved in the operations and oversight of her employees and clients every day.
